Terms of Service

The agreement between you and MPC Stem Exporter.

1. What this service is

MPC Stem Exporter ("the Service", "we", "us") is a browser-based tool that reads Akai MPC Sample project files and renders separate per-pad audio stems and MIDI files for use in your own music production. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for everything that happens under your account. Provide accurate information when you sign up, and let us know promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission. You must be old enough to enter a binding contract in your country to use the Service.

3. Payment and access

  • Access to exporting is sold as a one-time purchase. The price shown at checkout is what applies.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. We don't see or store your full card details.
  • Once purchased, your access does not expire and includes updates we release to the Service.

4. Refunds

Because the Service lets you preview a project before buying, please make sure it works for your needs first. If something doesn't work as described, contact us within 14 days of purchase and we'll make it right or refund you. We can't offer refunds for change of mind once you've successfully exported files, but we'll always try to be reasonable.

5. Acceptable use

Use the Service only with project files and audio you have the right to use. You agree not to:

  • Resell, redistribute, or repackage the Service or its code as your own;
  • Attempt to bypass payment, share account access to avoid purchase, or circumvent security;
  • Use the Service to infringe anyone else's copyright or other rights.

6. Your audio and your rights

You keep all rights to the project files, samples, and exported stems you create. We claim no ownership over your music. The Service processes your files to produce your exports — nothing more.

7. Intellectual property & independence

The Service, its name, design, and code belong to us. "Akai", "MPC", and "MPC Sample" are trademarks of their respective owner. This Service is independent and is not affiliated with, authorized, sponsored, or endorsed by Akai Professional or inMusic. It is an interoperability tool that helps owners get their own audio out of their own projects.

8. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is". Audio processing aims to faithfully reproduce how your project plays, but results can vary between projects, and some hardware effects can't be reproduced and are instead detected and reported. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost projects, lost time, or lost profits. Always keep your own backups of your projects and samples.

10. Changes and termination

We may update the Service and these Terms over time; significant changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date. We may suspend accounts that breach these Terms. You can stop using the Service at any time.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Romania will have jurisdiction over any disputes, unless mandatory consumer law in your country of residence says otherwise.

Privacy Policy

What we collect, why, and what we don't.

The short version: your music never leaves your device. Project files and audio are processed locally in your browser — we don't upload, store, or see them. We only handle the small amount of account and payment information needed to give you access.

1. Your audio stays on your device

The core of the Service runs entirely in your browser. When you load a project file and samples, they are read and processed locally on your own computer. Your project files, samples, and exported stems are never uploaded to us or to any third party. We have no access to them.

2. What we do collect

  • Account information: your name (optional) and email address, so you can log in and we can give you access to your purchase.
  • Authentication data: if you sign in with Google, we receive your basic profile email from Google to identify your account. We don't get your Google password.
  • Payment information: handled by Stripe. We receive a confirmation that you paid and a customer reference, but not your full card number.
  • Basic usage and security data: standard logs (such as IP address and browser type) used to keep accounts secure and the Service running.

3. Why we collect it

Only to operate the Service: to create and secure your account, to confirm your purchase and grant access, to provide support, and to comply with our legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data, and we don't use your data for advertising.

4. Service providers we use

  • Stripe — payment processing (stripe.com/privacy).
  • Our authentication / hosting provider — to store account records and serve the site securely.
  • Google — only if you choose "Continue with Google" to sign in.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your account and purchase records for as long as your account exists and as long as needed for legal and accounting purposes. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR in the EU/EEA), you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email us at the address below and we'll respond within a reasonable time.

7. Cookies

We use only the cookies and local storage needed to keep you logged in and to make the Service work. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Children

The Service is not directed at children and is intended for users old enough to enter a binding contract in their country.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above.
